Data protection officer
No data protection officer has been appointed. There is no obligation to appoint one under Art. 37 GDPR for this website, as neither large-scale regular systematic monitoring of data subjects nor large-scale processing of special categories of personal data takes place. Please direct privacy enquiries to the contact address above.
Hosting & Server logs
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. Every page request automatically generates server log entries: anonymised IP address, date and time of request, requested URL, referrer URL, browser user agent, transferred data volume and HTTP status code. These data are processed solely for operational purposes (stability, security, error analysis) on the basis of legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. They are typically retained for no more than seven days and then anonymised or deleted automatically. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with ALL-INKL.COM.
Transfer to third countries
No personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area (third countries). Hosting, mail delivery and all services used are operated within Germany.
Cookies & tracking
This website does not use cookies or any tracking. No third-party services (analytics, advertising, social media plugins, external fonts) are embedded. Fonts (DM Sans, Crimson Pro) are served locally from the same server. The only data stored in your browser are two local preferences set when you explicitly use the corresponding switches: your chosen colour scheme (light/dark) and your chosen language. These data never leave your device. Legal basis: §25(2)(2) TTDSG (expressly requested by the user).
Contact by email
If you contact me by email, the data you provide (name, email address, message content) are stored to process your request. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data are deleted once they are no longer required, subject to mandatory statutory retention periods.
External links
This website links to external scientific databases and profiles (ORCID, PubMed, DOI resolvers) as well as to regulatory and professional bodies (Hessian Medical Association, Hessian Data Protection Commissioner, EU Online Dispute Resolution platform). When you click an external link you leave this website; I have no influence over the data processing of the target site. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies. External links open in a new tab after a confirmation prompt and carry `rel="noopener noreferrer"`, so no referrer is transmitted.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (https://datenschutz.hessen.de).
Obligation to provide data
You are not required to provide any personal data to visit this website; it can be used without entering any data. If you wish to get in touch, you provide the necessary information (in particular your email address) voluntarily; without this information I cannot reply to your request.
Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place on this website.
Data security
This website is delivered exclusively over HTTPS (TLS). Unencrypted access is not possible.
